WQDR 94.7 FM— The area's legendary rock station that defined an era. From the late '70s through the early '80s, WQDR dominated the Sandhills airwaves with authentic rock and album-oriented radio.  This tee celebrates the station that mattered—a piece of rock history and one of many communities and towns that made it legendary. WQDR flipped to country music in 1984, breaking many listeners' hearts and creating a huge void for rock fans in the area.
