Taco ‘Bout a Throwback: Cinco De Mayo & El Chapala
Cinco de Mayo is here, and while everyone is looking for the best margarita in town, we’re looking back at the ultimate Sandhills staple.
Our El Chapala homage tee is a tribute to the legendary Aberdeen spot that was the undisputed "go-to" for everyone in the area. Whether it was the chips and salsa that hit just right or the familiar faces at every table, El Chapala wasn’t just a restaurant—it was a community hub. Grab the shirt, grab a taco, and celebrate the local history that tastes like home.
New for May: The "Nostalgia Series" Drops
We’ve been busy in the lab, and this month we’re dropping four new designs that will take you straight back to the best days of your life:
Peppermint Lounge: Pay tribute to the high-energy heart of Southern Pines music history. From shag dancing to live soul on US Hwy 1, this was the "place to be" for locals and visitors from all over the Carolinas!
Pinehurst Marina: Celebrate those all day tiresome back and forth swims to the floating dock. Be careful, you never know what lurks below!
Elks Club Pool: Nothing says "growing up in the Sandhills" like a summer spent at the Elks. It’s more than a pool; it’s a childhood rite of passage.
Wallace O’Neal: A classic look for the Falcons faithful. Whether you’re an alum or just a fan of local excellence, this one is for the O’Neal School community. Go Falcons!
Lights, Camera, Action: Wardrobe Assist for Brothers Twice
We have some cool news! We are incredibly honored and want to give a shout-out to the production company behind the movie "Brothers Twice," which is currently filming right here in our backyard.
The film crew reached out to us for wardrobe assistance, asking us to provide retro t-shirt creations for several of their key scenes shot in both Carthage and Aberdeen. It’s a dream come true to see our designs helping to bring the history and style of the Sandhills to the movies. Keep your eyes peeled for our shirts when the film debuts—you might just recognize a few "local legends" on camera!
